In order to prevent construction accidents and guarantee that projects are executed in an environmentally sustainable manner, BONGSHAI E&C strictly enforces local Labour Law codes, BNBC guidelines, and international ISO 45001:2018 Health & Safety Standards.

Fall Protection & Scaffolding Certification

Full body double-lanyard safety harnesses, heavy steel tubular scaffolding inspection tags, perimeter safety nets, and guarded floor openings above 1.8 meters height.

Permit-To-Work (PTW) System

Strict written permit authorization required prior to high-risk activities including Hot Work (welding/cutting), Deep Excavation, Confined Space Entry, and Heavy Crane Lifting.

Lockout / Tagout (LOTO) Electrical Safety

Physical locking and warning tagout procedures applied to all electrical switchgear, high voltage panels, and machinery power feeds during maintenance.

Environmental Waste & Spill Control

ISO 14001 aligned waste segregation, concrete washwater neutralization, bentonite slurry recycling, and fuel containment bunds to prevent soil/water contamination.

Safety is a line management responsibility. Dedicated full-time HSE Engineers reporting directly to the Project Director maintain authority to immediately stop any unsafe work activity on site.

How are near-misses and safety incidents investigated?

All near-misses and incidents undergo mandatory Root Cause Analysis (RCA) within 24 hours. Findings are documented, shared across all active sites, and integrated into corrective action plans to ensure non-recurrence.
