Quality Assurance & Quality Control System

Bongshai Engineering & Construction enforces an ISO 9001:2015 aligned Quality Management System across all engineering projects. Our QA/QC framework guarantees structural integrity through mandatory material attestation, concrete strength testing, non-destructive welding inspections (NDT), and three-tier hold point protocols.

How do we enforce our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Plan?

This Quality Plan presents the systems and procedures that BONGSHAI E&C has established across all corporate and jobsite operations to maintain rigorous quality control.

Our Quality Management System guarantees the availability of competent engineering manpower, verified raw materials, calibrated testing equipment, and continuous technical training for site engineers and technicians.

What are our core quality control procedures?

Raw Material Mill Test Report (MTR) Verification

100% inspection and chemical/mechanical test certificate attestation for all incoming cement, aggregate, structural steel plates, and rebar batches prior to site unloading.

Fresh Concrete Slump & Cylinder Testing

Mandatory workability slump cone testing for every concrete transit mixer, alongside 150mm x 300mm cylinder casting for 7-day, 14-day, and 28-day ASTM C39 compressive strength verification.

Non-Destructive Welding Testing (NDT)

Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT), and Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI) conducted on primary steel frame welds per AWS D1.1 structural welding standards.

Three-Tier Hold Point Inspection System

Formal Sign-off Inspections (Pre-pour rebar check, Pour supervision, and Post-pour curing audit) signed jointly by Site QA Engineer, Consultant, and Client Representative.

What engineering codes govern our quality compliance?

Our Quality Management System ensures that all civil engineering works, pre-engineered steel buildings, and electrical installations strictly conform to client specifications and comply with BNBC, ACI, AISC, ASTM, and AWS D1.1 international standards.

What do clients frequently ask about our quality assurance?

What happens if a concrete test cube fails 28-day strength tests?

In the event of an out-of-spec test result, non-conformance reports (NCR) are raised immediately. In-situ core drilling and testing (ASTM C42) or Windsor Probe testing is conducted under independent laboratory supervision to determine structural safety.

Are third-party laboratory test reports provided to clients?

Yes, all material testing reports (BUET / BRTC / Government certified labs) for rebar tensile strength, cement setting time, aggregate sieve analysis, and soil compaction are submitted in monthly QA/QC documentation dossiers.
